Many of your questions have already been answered here...
Q. Can I ask what we would get for the £59 tree? Are there any hidden costs and is this what we would have to pay each year if we wanted the same tree?
A. The price you see on the website includes everything. Once you've paid it, you wont be asked for a penny more.
Q. Will you deliver to the Manchester area and if so, are we able to
choose our own delivery date? What would you advise is the longest we could have a tree indoors for? A. We do deliver to Manchester and all our trees come fitted with a watering spike and a sachet of food, so as long as you top up the watering spike each time it runs down and use the feed the plant will be fine. If you have any concerns you call always call Martin or I for some guidance. Our numbers are on the enquiry page of the website. Q. Can you please tell me where you are based, and do you have a telephone number if things go wrong, or I am not happy with my tree?
Also, how can you guarantee that once you replant an 8ft Christmas Tree, especially a fir Tree that has a huge Tap Root, that this tree will re-grow, especially considering that you will have destroyed most of the root when you dig the tree up. I don't believe these tress will re-grow as you are talking about Timber Trees not a garden conifer. Please explain how you intend to do this. A. we are based in Dorset. There is a telephone number on the website you can call if things go wrong or if you do not like your tree: 07784 584381
All our trees are grown from seed in a pot, so they never have to be dug up. All that happens is that as they grow they go into bigger pots. When we say that the trees go back in the ground they do so but all the time remaining in their pots. We then let the roots flourish a little and cut them back using a system much like that of Bonsai. This way we can keep the trees at the same rough size for several years. Then as each tree moves up a height bracket it gets a new pot and more medium. Once its too big for commercial use its given to a good cause or a good home.
Q. I'm thinking about ordering a Christmas Tree, but not sure when you'll deliver it. If I order now will it be delivered in December, and will I be able to nominate a delivery day? Many thanks in advance.
A. We are planning to dispatch trees all through December. If you have a particular date in mind please notify us on your order and we'll do our best to deliver it on that day. You will be notified of any changes to the date and all dates will be confirmed before December. The same goes for pick up.
Q. If I was to purchase a 6ft tree how tall would it be including the pot.
A. all our trees are measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the tree. So a six foot tree is six foot.
Q. We are completely delighted to have found your site and are blown away by the beautiful simplicity of your idea, thank goodness you have set this up and hopefully as you say all Christmas trees will be like this. Makes me so sad to see them all outside dead in January. ANYWAY my question is when should we order for Christmas and when will the tree be delivered?
A. We are planning to dispatch trees all through December. If you have a particular date in mind please notify us on your order and we'll do our best to deliver it on that day. You will be notified of any changes to the date.
Q. I have a couple of questions:
1.) I live in County Durham - are you able to deliver this far away from your base and does this distance negate any benefit to the enviroment this scheme has?
A. We can deliver to anywhere in England and Wales and the cost of deliveru is included in the prices on the website. Also, as our trees are Living trees they shed hardly any needles at all as long as they are watered regularly. We provide all customers with a very easy to use watering spike which you fill each time it runs down (probably every other day or so).
Q. We would like to find out if your trees are grown in pots or are transfered to pots before they are loaned to people.
A. all of our trees have been grown in a pot. We never transplant trees as the damage to them is practically the same as cutting one down.
After Christmas our trees remain in their pots but are put in the ground. The roots are then trimmed in the same way that Bonsai's are so they can remain the same size and be used for several years in the same height bracket. |
